Clancy & Theys Construction Company provided construction management at risk services for the new Felton Grove High School in Apex, NC. This new state-of-the-art high school will have a capacity of over 2,200 students, to support rapid population growth in Wake County. Clancy & Theys Construction Company worked closely with the Wake County Public School System, Ratio Architects, and a robust team of design professionals and trade contractors to deliver this 400,000+ SF school which will serve as a model for 21st century learning. Developed on a 68-acre site this school has a 2-story dining area which also serves as a lobby for school events with connections to the main theatre, gyms, media center, administration area, and academic wings. The two three-story academic wings create a courtyard providing an outdoor gathering space and classroom. The 68-acre site includes a football field with stadium seating and concessions, baseball field with bleachers, softball field with bleachers, tennis courts, an outdoor basketball court, green field space, and a parking deck.
