Clancy & Theys Construction Company contributed General Contracting towards the three-story, 89,000 sq ft building with mechanical penthouse that combines Onslow County’s Health Department and Department of Social Services programs into one complex. The building include spaces for open office configuration, private offices, high density file storage, conference and training spaces, as well as full clinic, laboratory, pharmacy, and many other health services functions. The work includes plumbing, mechanical, electrical, and sprinkler systems. The facility holds the corner of College and Warlick Streets and preserves the urban context of the site, while creating a large open courtyard on the interior for outdoor functions such as farmers markets and education fairs.
