The Latitude is a multi-unit residential development catered toward NCSU college students. This development spans 10 acres and 12 different buildings. Two buildings contain 130 apartment units ranging from 1 to 5 bedrooms. The remaining 10 buildings contain 50 four-bedroom townhomes with private two-car garages. Amenities include a pool, fitness center, lounge, and study rooms. Each apartment is fully furnished and complete with high-end finishes. Kitchens feature quartz countertops, stainless steel appliances, and convenient amenities such as garbage disposals and faucets with sprayers.
Infrastructure completed for this project includes three ample stormwater underground detention systems, reinforced concrete pipe (RCP) stormwater piping throughout the site, four wet taps to existing city water mains to bring water onto the site, water piping consisting of ductile iron and copper, high-density polyethylene (HDPE) sanitary sewer piping throughout the site, new water main installed in public streets, off-site city infrastructure improvements including the removal and replacement of 2,000 linear feet of sanitary sewer piping, demolish, grade and install new asphalt on Burton Ave., new asphalt surface parking throughout the site, all new storm inlets, curb and gutter and sidewalks in public row and throughout site.
