Overview

Clancy & Theys Construction Company managed construction at the Judy D. Zelnak Center of Hope for the Salvation Army Headquarters and Shelter. This project was renovating a steel and brick structure to serve as the Salvation Army headquarters and a shelter for nine homeless families. The facility includes a full-service kitchen, play areas, electronic security systems, and a state-of-the-art lobby. The project included the construction of a separate steel and brick warehouse for donated materials. New paving, landscaping, and façade changes transformed the abandoned building and site into a modern facility, earning LEED Silver certification.
