Clancy & Theys Construction Company provided construction management services for Elan Williamsburg, an apartment community that blends luxury, comfort, and accessibility to create the perfect home for its residents. The nine-acre community features four garden-style apartment buildings with 198 units and seven freestanding parking garages.
The community offers a warm and welcoming atmosphere. Spacious apartments feature modern touches like granite counters and stainless-steel appliances. Resort-inspired amenities were designed to support a social and communal lifestyle and include a WIFI-equipped clubhouse, a fireside lounge, a game room, a fitness center with state-of-the-art equipment, a Yoga room, a beach-entry pool, two outdoor pavilions with gas grills and walking trails. To create the perfect aesthetic, the apartment buildings are a rustic craftsman style, while the club building integrates heavy timber elements at the main entry and vaulted cathedral ceiling in the main space.
While Elan Williamsburg is an inclusive, non-age restrictive community, it was designed to complement the nearby communities that service residents that are 55+. All ground level units and amenities are ADA accessible, including the pool, which was designed with a beach-entry. Ramps and zero thresholds provide ADA accessible entrances to the ground level units. These units’ interiors also meet ADA regulations, including fully accessible bathrooms.
