Tangelo Park Elementary School Replacement

Clancy & Theys was awarded the Tangelo Park Elementary School replacement project as the construction manager at risk.

We were responsible for the demolition of the existing campus and the construction of the new 70,000 square foot, two-story prototype building on an occupied campus. The school consists of classrooms, skills/resource labs, art, music, administration, kitchen, dining/multi-purpose room, media center and support spaces.

The site work included improvements such as new bus loops, playground, sports areas, retention ponds and parking. The building structure included conventional spread footing foundations, load-bearing tilt-wall panels, and a structural steel frame as well as low slope flat roofs.
