Overview
Clancy & Theys was chosen to provide construction management at risk services for the first three (3) buildings of the new Poinciana Campus for Valencia College.
The project consisted of a three-story, 70,000 square foot academic building, a single-story, 5,000 square foot classroom/trades building, and a central energy plant. The College opted for a chilled beam HVAC system (our second installed) for high energy efficiency.
The buildings have been constructed of tilt-up concrete wall panels and a standing seam metal roof on a bar joist roof system. The exterior tilt wall panels have thin set brick veneer.
