Overview
Clancy & Theys Construction Company provided construction management for the Umstead Hotel Renovations. In three phases, this five-star hotel renovation included soft good renovations of the following public areas: Heron’s Restaurant, the art gallery, the bar, the sunroom, the Chihuly Room, the lobby, the concierge, the fireplace room, and conference corridors. The project also includes the renovation of 154 guest rooms. The Spa was also renovated and expanded. The scope included a new exterior co-ed whirlpool, expanded wet and relaxation lounges, new couples treatment rooms, a complete soft goods renovation, and refurbishment of the existing whirlpools and steam rooms.
