Clancy & Theys Construction Company is providing construction management services on The Geneva School, a private and co-educational Christian Day School founded in 1993. The new facility will serve seventh through twelfth grades, with future build-out space. The new 59,665 square foot education facility includes a new 10,992 square foot gym and a new central energy plant. Construction was completed in less than 10 months on a six-acre property. The elevation of the building foundation was elevated to six feet relative to the surrounding areas to provide a grand entrance. The roof is a missionary style barrel roof at the front entrance, with articulated window and facade elevations on a tilt panel and steel structure. The structure has three egress stairs, one elevator and pre-function space that will service functions in both the gym and the Black Box performance areas. Additional specialty rooms within the buildings will include an art lab, music room, Da Vinci Lab, library, Oculus room and three science labs.
