Clancy & Theys Construction Company provided a CM at-risk for the Sheraton Oceanfront Hotel project. Renovation of a 101,000 sq ft Sheraton Hotel with eleven floors, with 169 guestrooms and suites. All 169 rooms had new PTAC, balcony repairs, sliding glass doors, lighting, and retrofit fire alarm system. Additionally, we applied new elastomeric waterproofing coating to the exterior of the existing hotel structure. The project also included the renovation of 21 cabana rooms; demolition of the existing four story guestroom tower and two outdoor swimming pools; addition of new five story concrete structure on piles for an additional 24 guestrooms. Hotel includes a restaurant, three kitchens, presidential suite, administrative offices, bathrooms, fitness room, indoor swimming pool and outdoor swimming pool. Infrastructure systems include new fire alarm system, mechanical and HVAC systems, and associated electrical work. Kitchen work included removing existing equipment and replacing it with new equipment and a new exhaust system with make-up air unit including new fire suppression system.
