Construction of an 86,000 square foot, 5-story class A office completed on the fast-track schedule. The building is composed of a structural steel frame with architectural precast and glass wall system. Work included complete building build-out, including 12,227 sq ft office for the US Attorney. Using a combination of grade-bearing precast concrete panels and reflective glass, the project’s team was able to create a striking corporate image while economizing on construction cost.
This building was the recipient of the 2004, Hampton Roads Association for Commercial Real Estate’s Excellence in Development Design Awards – Award of Merit for Best Office Building over 75,000 Square Feet for the Langley Federal Credit Union Headquarters (Fountain Plaza III) in Newport News, Virginia.
