Keene’s Crossing Elementary School

Overview

Clancy & Theys Construction Company was selected to provide Construction Management at Risk services to Keene’s Crossing Elementary School.

This project consisted of building a two-story, 99,000 SF elementary school prototype designed by SchenkelShultz Architecture.

The new facility includes classrooms, 838 student stations, art and music suites, a kitchen, multi-purpose/dining area, and administrative offices. The building structure includes conventional spread footing foundations, loadi-bearing tilt-wall panels and a structural steel frame. The building envelop consists of the textured coated tilt-wall panels, storefront, aluminum framed windows, curtain wall and a single-ply roof membrane over light-weight insulating concrete.

This prototype elementary school on a 13.5 acre site located in southwest Orange County. The site development included the construction of a bus loop, parking lot, parent drop-off lane, play fields, outdoor activity areas, and site utilities.
