Clancy & Theys Construction Company provided Construction Management at Risk services for the UNC Central Campus Athletic Fields. This project was a large scale, complex athletic fields and training facility project. First, we had to remove the existing athletics facilities at Fetzer Stadium, Henry Stadium, and Navy Fields. We then constructed two new outdoor practice fields and training area a new soccer/lacrosse playing field and a new indoor practice facility and adjoining practice facility support building. Also included in the scope of work is the renovation of the Fetzer Stadium Facility with a new press box, ticketing, concession buildings, seating upgrades, and an expanded south concourse structure with additional seating. We also constructed a new 2-story, soccer and lacrosse team building containing offices, new locker room facilities, and other support functions.
