Clancy & Theys Construction Company is providing construction management services for The Latitude. The Latitude is a new multi-unit residential development catered toward NCSU college
students. This development spans 10 acres and 12 different buildings. Two of the buildings contain 130 apartment units with a range of 1-5 bedrooms. The remaining 10 buildings contain 50 four-bedroom townhomes with private 2-car garages. Amenities include a pool, fitness center, lounge, study rooms, and more. Each apartment is fully furnished and complete with high-end finishes. Each and every living room comes with custom furniture like sofas and SMART TVs. Kitchens are outfitted with quartz countertops, stainless-steel appliances, and convenient features like garbage disposals and faucets with sprayers.
Infrastructure needed for this project includes three large storm water underground detention systems, RCP storm-water piping throughout the site, four wet taps to existing city water mains to bring water onto site, water piping consisting of ductile iron and copper, HDPE sanitary sewer piping throughout the site, new water main installed in public streets, off-site city infrastructure improvements including the removal and replacement of 2,000 linear feet of sanitary sewer piping, demolish, grade and install new asphalt on Burton Ave., new asphalt surface parking throughout the site, all new storm inlets, curb and gutter and sidewalks in public row and throughout site.
