Clancy & Theys Construction Company completed a CMAR project for the highly recognized State Employees Credit Union. The new State Employees’ Credit Union tower is a stunning 12-story landmark in the heart of downtown Raleigh. The 252,533 SF building was constructed with drilled shaft foundations on a tight site. The building features a six-level concrete parking deck integrated within its structure. The structure is steel-framed, with a balanced design. The shell is an 80% specialty curtain wall system, and specialty lighting highlights this one-of-a-kind structure, making it visible for miles. Clancy & Theys also completed all the buildouts for each floor. After seeing our team’s high-quality work on the building, the owner asked our company to return to renovate and upfit the 11th floor, as half of it was unoccupied shell space.
