Clancy & Theys Construction Company was awarded the opportunity to work as the construction management at-risk for the OCPS RBELC Boardroom renovation. The Ronald Blocker Educational Leadership Center building is an existing nine-story office facility located in downtown Orlando which houses all of the Senior Leadership from Orange County Public Schools (OCPS).
Clancy & Theys was originally awarded a contract for construction management services for a complete HVAC replacement project for the entire facility. Due to our proactive management of the HVAC replacement work, OCPS issued a second contract to our team, under our continuing service contract, to perform a complete renovation of the existing boardroom space. The scope of work included complete demolition of the existing space, conversion of existing sloped floor to new concrete flat surface, new finishes, new board room dais, new lighting, new A/V and stage lighting, sound attenuation and new auditorium seating.
