Oak Hill Elementary School Replacement

Overview

Clancy & Theys was awarded the Oak Hill Elementary School replacement project as the Construction Manager at Risk.

Part of our responsibility included the demolition of the existing building along with covered walkways, miscellaneous storage and mechanical buildings. Now, we are currently constructing the new 72,570 SF, two-story prototype building on an occupied campus. The new facility will accommodate 650 student stations and consists of classrooms, skills/resource labs, art, music, administration, kitchen, dining/multi-purpose room, media center and support spaces.

The site work included improvements such as new bus loops, playground, sports areas, retention ponds and parking. The building structure included conventional spread footing foundations, load-bearing tilt-wall panels, and a structural steel frame as well as low slope flat roofs.
