On April 10, Clancy & Theys celebrated the start of another new project with a groundbreaking ceremony hosted by the Wilmington Chamber of Commerce in Wilmington, North Carolina.
Construction has begun on the first office building at Wilmington’s newest office park, Midtown Park at Barclay. Clancy & Theys is the general contractor on the project and is working alongside designer BMH Architects and developer Cameron Management. The new office park is adjacent to The Pointe at Barclay, where Clancy & Theys recently completed four retail buildings totaling 34,029 square feet, as well as a 23,000 square foot courtyard. Residential community The Forks at Barclay is also nearby.
Wilmington Health, one of the area’s largest healthcare companies, will be the first tenant of the new building, leasing 30,000 square feet of the building’s total 63,000 square feet. The company will relocate its obstetrician/gynecological services to Midtown Park. Wilmington Health is excited to have a location that is convenient to consumers, near retail and entertainment.
