Diversity, Equity, & Inclusion

At Clancy & Theys Construction Company, we have built a legacy founded on Collaboration, Passion, Stewardship, and Safety. We are committed to creating equal opportunity and an inclusive workplace that promotes and values diversity for our industry and the communities in which we work.

The primary goal of Clancy & Theys’ Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Program is to provide procurement opportunities to diverse suppliers that satisfy our purchasing and contractual requirements. Secondarily, it supports our customers in achieving their own diversity goals. And thirdly, it provides additional employment opportunities in the local communities that we serve and demonstrates our support and advocacy for inclusion and equity.

We appreciate that it takes great risk, sacrifice, and hard work to start a business, build relationships, gain experience, and succeed in this industry. We applaud the diverse suppliers that have demonstrated the ability to be reliable, add value, and provide high-quality goods and services that are competitively priced. We celebrate their achievements and recognize the economic stimulus they provide to our local economy. We are looking to align ourselves with those businesses that serve the construction industry.

Our objectives include:

  1. Actively seeking out certified diverse suppliers that can provide competitive, high-quality goods and services
  2. Ensuring the inclusion of diverse suppliers as a part of our procurement process
  3. Communicating the value of supplier diversity both internally and externally to all stakeholders
  4. Leveraging our supplier diversity results to meet our clients’ supplier diversity requirements
